Warming Paraffin Wax Baths

Warming Paraffin Wax Baths
May 22nd, 2017 / Foot soak

With winter weather on our doorstep, why not try a warm paraffin wax bath? Paraffin wax retains heat and works to relieve stiffness by transferring this heat to painful joints in the feet and ankles. It can also open and cleanse skin pores, enhance circulation and relieve stress. The wax is poured onto the feet and given 10 seconds to cool before another layer is applied. The foot is then placed in a soft boot which is left on for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the heat to absorb.

After treatment the wax is simply peeled off, leaving your feet feeling relaxed and pampered.

Paraffin wax footbaths are covered by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs for Gold Card Holders and may be covered through your health fund depending on your level of cover.
